I like these

  4. @underbaraclaras åt blåbærcrumble til middag = life goals.
  6. @mariellamelie sine pologenserar.
  7. Ein veldig morsom tatovering hos @kellikikcio.
  8. Óg life goals: Paris-born på kafé, hos @sweetcabane
  9. Søndagsbakst hos @salikons_roser.
There is something beautifully transparent about the photos I save on Instagram, the things that most make me long and fit into an image of the life I want. Here are nine that I’ve saved recently!

  1. @hovelsrudhagen, reminded me I need to figure out what flowers I want in the garden this summer. I thought I’d have lots of dahlias to make bouquets and also just enjoy outside.
  2. @elsabillgren’s kitchen, always inspiring.
  3. A beautiful jungle that I spotted at @herz.und.blut, I want my house to be like this too. I’ve asked for plants for my birthday from my mother in law!
  4. @underbaraclaras had a blueberry crumble for dinner = life goals.
  5. Also from @hovelsrudhagen, liked the packaging.
  6. @mariellamelie‘s polos.
  7. A very funny tattoo at @kellikikcio.
  8. Also life goals: Paris children in cafés, at @sweetcabane
  9. Sunday baking at @salikons_roser.

Dahlias are lovely but such hard work as you have to lift the tubers and store them in autumn (I gave up as mine always rotted, no matter how careful I was in storing them). Why not try cosmos daisy, ox eye daisy, calendula and California poppy in your first year? You just scatter the seeds ans wait. There flowers attract beneficial insects and make a pretty bouquet. Can’t wait to see your garden in summer. Good luck.
