eg har kjøpt ein ny hatt! kjøpte den i salgsavdelingen på anthropologie og er den perfekte forma for meg. sidan eg har så stort hovud må eg ha hattar som sit på langt bak. aller best likar eg at den matchar min plan for juleantrekk perfekt.

i have a new hat! i bought it in the sales room at anthropologie and it’s the perfect shape for me. since my head is so big, i have to have hats that sit at the back of my head. it matches my planned christmas outfit perfectly, too!

her kjem bildene eg tok i richmond park på fredag! dei var for audrey grace, som opna nettbutikk i dag! det var virkelig veldig vanskelig å sei ja til, men eg er så glad eg gjorde det. for sjølv om eg var utslitt to dagar etterpå så trengte eg å ha den følelsen i kroppen igjen, av å fanga magiske millisekund. alle bilder er tekne av meg, og modell er sjølvsagt den fantastiske synne.

here are the pictures i took in richmond park on friday! they were for audrey grace’ online shop, which opened today! it would have been so easy to not say yes, but i’m so glad i did. because even though i was exhausted for two days after, i needed to have that feeling in my body again, the feeling of catching magical split seconds on camera. all pictures are by me, model is the amazing synne.

etter eg la ut desse bildene forrige veke vart de veldig nysjerrige på håret mitt og korleis eg gjer det. for å vera ærlig er denne frisyren eit resultat av at eg kjeda meg og berre tuperte håret som ein gal. eg har alltid hatt lyst til å pulla off ein beehive, men føler meg så naken om eg ikkje har håret ned. så det her er altså ein semi-hive. ein heil masse tupering og hårspray og omtrent fire-fem fliseklemmer og litt bling i luggen. eg brukar ein tuperingskam og ein mjuk børste for å glatta ut etterpå.
1. sånn ser håret ut når eg har børsta det vanlig ned. start med glatt hår og ingen produkt i. 2. finn ut kor stor lugg du har, alt som er bak luggen børstar du bakover. det skal bli til hive. eg tar luggen i ein strikk så den ikkje blandar seg baki. 3. tuper ein heil masse bak der. start fremst på hovudet og tuper i tynne lag. legg alt håret framover etter du har tupert det. 4. børst det bakover litt halvhjarta.
1. tuper meir! 2. spray masse i alle lag og børst bakover igjen. 3. ta tak i håret du har tupert fra begge sider og liksom form ein hive. så puttar ein i klemmene så den sit fast. om ein ikkje festar den så sklir den berre ut til å bli ein veldig rar midtskill. 4. tuper på sidene av hiven for å jevna ut teksturen og nivået på håret.
1. sånn ser det ut fra framme no. 2. og frå sida. ikkje ferdig! 3. tuper luggen. start øverst forsiktig og tuper kraftigare jo lenger ned du kjem. 4. da ser du sånn ut, men fortvil ikkje.
1. spray masse og børst ned. 2. så snurrar eg luggen så den får liksom ein brett. 3. fest blinget. 4. spray på og glatt litt ut. så er me ferdige! (obs! mitt ferdige resultat er prega av at eg ikkje såg meg i spegelen alls mens eg fiksa fordi eg sat i ro framfor kameraet. metoden funkar og ser meir ut som bildene øverst enn det ferdige resultatet her.)

after i posted the top photos last week you got very curious about my hair and how i do it. to be honest, this do is a result is being bored and back combing my hair like a crazy person. i’ve always wanted to pull off a beehive, but i feel naked when my hair isn’t down. so this is a semi-hive. a whole lot of back combing and hairspray and four or five bobby pins and some bling for my bangs. i use a thin back combing comb and a soft brush so smoothen out the surface after.
1. this is how my hair looks like when i’ve just brushed it normally. start with smooth hair with no product. 2. find out how much hair you want to have in the front, the rest you brush backwards, the part that’s going to be the hive. i put my bangs in an elastic just so it doesn’t get mixed up with the other parts. 3. back comb a whole lot in the back. start on the top of the head and do small sections towards the back. put all the hair forward after you’ve back combed it. 4. brush it backward half-heartedly.
1. back comb more! 2. spray it down a lot and brush it back again. 3. take all the hair you’ve back combed and shape a hive with your hands. then fasten the bobby pins so they sit tightly enough for it not to fall out during the day. 4. back comb the sides of the hive to even out the texture.
1. this is how it looks like from the front now. 2. and from the side. but we’re not done yet. 3. back comb the bangs starting carefully from the top and more vigorously longer down. 4. then you’ll look like this, but don’t worry!
1. use a lot of spray and brush it down. 2. then you spin the front section to sort of fold it. 3. put your bling in there. 4. spray and smoothen everything, then we’re done! (note! my result isn’t as good as usual for the simple reason that i wasn’t looking in the mirror at all while doing it. the method works and looks more like the top pictures than the results here).

haleigh, min finaste parisperson, har det siste året jobba mot eit stort stort mål: sin eigen nettbutikk. og etter så himla mykje arbeid og seine netter er den endelig opna. shop rebelle viser fingeren til massekonsumering og fokuserar på kvalitetsplagg ein kan ha til ein dør, det handlar om å føla seg bra når ein har på seg noko som er luksuriøst. er så himla stolt over kor fantastisk flinke venner eg har.
butikken har allerede blitt vist fram i så himla mange hjørne på internett, blant anna hos finaste audrey hos be frassy, her i snekkerbukser og genser i den beste blåfargen fra wildfox.
så om ein vil vera kul i dongerijakke og klar for sommar og føler seg ferdig med zara og h&m, så burde ein putta gullpengane sine i shop rebelle denne våren.

my best paris person haleigh has been working towards a huge thing in the last year or so, and it’s finally here after many a late night and a lot of hard work, sweat and tears. shop rebelle is a protest against mass consumerism and focuses and quality garments to wear until the day you die. it’s about feeling good in something luxurious. i’m so proud to have such amazing friends. the shop has already been featured in the corners of the internet, amongs others the lovely audrey at be frassy, here wearing dungarees and a wildfox sweater in the best shade of blue. so if you want to be cool in a jeans jacket and ready for summer, and you’re over zara and h&m, you should put your pennies in shop rebelle this spring.
