Our week in Paris: a lemon meringue pie, glittery nails and two sunsets.

Paris, three

Tysdag i Paris gjekk Jostein ut for å kjøpa frukostcroissantar. For ein mann!
Tuesday in Paris, and Jostein went out to get breakfast croissants. What a man! We also had yoghurt so thick it must have been made with cream, drank tea and were lazy. Laziness is allowed when you’re pregnant on holiday. My back was aching from carrying my camera, so the phone got to capture this day.[line]

Paris

I was feeling pretty confident about striking the perfect hair balance: messy/curly. Don’t know if you can tell, but this is my cool face.[line]

Paris, three

Før me gjekk ut danderte eg mange av våre fine kjøp og instagramma! Skal få meg eit sånt rosa ull, SÅ fint.[line]
Before leaving the house, I styled our purchases and instagrammed! Am getting one of these pink wools, SO pretty.[line]

Boom![line]
With my hand in my waist you can barely see from that angle. Boom![line]

Paris, three

Anyways, we went out of the house, to the beautiful Bon Marché. We suffered through the baby department, smelled some products and bought some things in the food hall.[line]

We were both SO ready for lunch. But they are strict in Paris, only serving food until a certain time (completely weird for us London people). So we had cake for lunch! Jostein had a fig and almond cake that was perfect.[line]

Paris, three

And I had a lemon curd tart that was perfect too.[line]

Paris, three

Også shoppa me! [line]
Then we shopped![line]

Paris, three

Så mange fine butikkar i Paris, altså. [line]
So many lovely shops in Paris.[line]

Paris, three

Then we walked to Notre Dame, where we sat down on a bench and looked at ducks and charming kids who ran by, and the sun that set behind the church towers.[line]

Paris, three

I applied my new nail polish that I love.[line]

Paris, three

Også gjekk me heim, til enda ein solnedgang, og ei rosa elv var det siste me såg denne dagen. Utanom kvarandre da, såklart.[line]
Then we walked home, to another sunset, and a pink river was the last thing we saw that day. Except for eachother, of course.[line]
